Frequently Asked Questions
All travelers should arrive in Nairobi (Airport Code: NBO) at least one day before the trip begins.
Because of travel time and time zone differences, most international travelers will need to depart their home airport one day before their arrival date in Kenya.
Flight Schedule Example:
- May 31, 2027: JFK (New York) → NBO (Nairobi) – Arrive morning
- June 8, 2027: NBO (Nairobi) → JFK (New York) – Depart evening

- Passport validity
You must have a valid passport with at least six (6) months validity beyond your intended date of entry into Kenya, and at least one blank page for entry stamps. - Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA)
All travelers should obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) before arrival. This applies to most foreign nationals, including travelers from the United States. The eTA is applied for online and must be approved prior to boarding your flight. Our team can assist you with the application process to make it seamless. Takes at least 3-5 working days. Africans with valid passports, DO NOT Require the eTA. - Return or onward travel Ticket
You may be required to show proof of return or onward travel, such as a return flight ticket, especially during the eTA application, your ticket will be needed. - Accommodation details
Immigration may request confirmation of where you will be staying, such as hotel bookings or an itinerary. - Vaccination requirements (conditional)
A yellow fever certificate may be required if you are traveling from or transiting through a yellow fever risk country. Routine vaccinations are recommended depending on your travel history.
We may, but we do not guarantee room pairing. Double occupancy applies to couples or friends traveling together, while solo travelers enjoy single occupancy throughout the trip. June marks the transition from the green season into Kenya’s dry season, bringing sunny days, cooler temperatures, and minimal rainfall.
Typical temperatures:
- Nairobi & Maasai Mara: 15–24°C (59–75°F)
- Coast, Diani Beach: 22–30°C (72–86°F)
We recommend packing light, breathable clothing for daytime, along with a light jacket or sweater for the cooler mornings and evenings, especially in Nairobi and the Maasai Mara.
